Why am i like this?
It feels like your perfectionism and critical voice are just a part of who you are. It may even feel like your whole identity. I get it. And trying to take a break from being so hard on yourself might make it that much worse. A day to rest, time for yourself, a pause from the to do list, all sound good in theory, but actually feel worse than if you just kept on the war path.
You feel guilty because people want to help but that almost makes things worse too. You would rather just do it yourself, so you don’t have to deal with the guilt, and you know you’ll do it right. And then there are the moments where you blame yourself for all your suffering and ask yourself, “Why am I like this"?” or “Why do I do this to myself?” “I only have myself to blame.”
You stay awake at night replaying the day wondering how you could improve while at the same time ruminating about everything you have to do tomorrow…the anxiety cycle never seems to end.
You deserve help
I hear my clients say all the time that “It’s not that bad" or “Other people have it way worse”. Sound like you? You deserve help with someone who gets it. You need a safe place to let it all out with zero expectations and that is completely judgement free. That is the goal of all my sessions: to ensure you feel safe and seen. I will always meet you exactly where you are at.
I believe healing happens when we feel safe enough to get real. You may not even know what the real you feels like. I know I didn’t. That’s okay. You get to choose what you disclose and at what pace. For some of my clients, that takes a while, others feel more comfortable digging right in. Either way, I will be holding space for whatever comes up- the big vulnerable stuff that feels impossible to talk about or the minor traffic jam on the way to work that sent you over the edge. It’s all important and it will all get us to where we need to go.

Step 2: Set up initial appointMENT
If we decide it makes sense to move forward, we will choose a time for our initial appointment. All sessions are 50 minutes and are conducted virtually.
I will also send you a link to my client portal where you will be able to access all necessary paperwork. I ask that you have these documents signed and completed 24 hours before our initial session so I may review them.
You will have the link to our online session way ahead of time. Make sure your internet connection is solid, and you have a comfy private spot. Telehealth can happen anywhere so you choose what feels cozy and I will see you there!
Step 1: 15 minute consulation
Submit your email at the bottom of the page. I will get back to you via email within 2 business days to schedule our 15 minute consultation.
During our 15 minute consultation, you will be able to ask any questions you may have about me, my practice and/ or therapy in general. I will also ask you questions about what you would like to work on together and explain more about how I work.
If we decide we are a good fit, we’ll head to step 2!
